Dean Smith is the General Manager and a Consultant at UK Young Autism Project.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Critical Psychology, and a Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). He is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and is currently studying for his Ph.D. in Behaviour Analysis. He has published research in peer-reviewed journals and has been working in the field of ABA for about 20 years.
In his role as a Consultant, Dean manages home- and school-based ABA programmes for children with autism ranging from pre-school to teenage. He also works with adults with autism and adults who require specialist support.
UK Young Autism Project is a division of UK Behaviour Analysis and Research Group CIC. It is a research based centre specialising in teaching young children with autism, other pervasive developmental disorders and related developmental disorders, using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
